A 12 pulse rectifier with sinusoidal mains supply current consumption to DIN 41773, a 3 phase invert and a static switch unit are all integrated in one single compact housing. The following configuration of components ensures a reliable constant AC supply to the load. Independent microprocessor control for battery charging, inverter and static switch probide a fully digital control system, making Protect 4. the most advanced system available. The UPS is completely static and provides an uninterrupted supply without any mechanical components. The SVS Protect 4. also possesses a sophisticated remote monitoring system and a definable automatic shutdown feature for separate load feeders.

The SVS Protect 1. operates according to the double converter principle and is designed for use in surge protection zone 3 as standard. However, it can be upgraded with specially adapted safety modules to offer proben service in surge protection zones 1 and 2.
